CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE
Advanced Optics, Inc. certifies that all its substrates and metallic coatings are compliant with all requirements and exemptions set forth by the European Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS 2.0) and the Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863.
Advanced Optics, Inc. certifies that all its substrates and metallic coatings are compliant with (EU POP) regulation (EU) 2019/1021 as updated on December 9, 2022, including, but not limited to, all PFOA and PFOS restrictions listed in Annex 1, Part A. Further, all substrates and metallic coatings are compliant with (EU) 2025/718 published June 27, 2025.
Advanced Optics, Inc. further certifies that the substrates and metallic coatings do not contain Medium-chain chlorinated paraffins (MCCP compliant) or California Proposition 65 Substances, as last updated on January 27, 2023. California Proposition 65 Warning (December, 2023).
Advanced Optics, Inc. also certifies that its substrates and metallic coatings do not contain any REACH ANNEX XIV Substances referred to in the 59 Annex XIV entries updated by the ECHA on April 8, 2022.
Advanced Optics, Inc. certifies that its substrates and metallic coatings fully comply with all requirements set forth by the European Union Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) as defined in Article 67 and Annexes XIV and XVII as well as the 251 substances of very high concern (SVHC) list.
Finally, Annex XVII of the REACH EC 1907/2006 directive states that glass is inert and therefore exempt from the provisions of the REACH regulations, provided that they do not contain constituents meeting the criteria as dangerous in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC. Glass is considered to be a completely nonhazardous material.
